Homework options are due on Friday for 1,3,5, Monday for period 2


Option#1
Make a Venn diagram comparing and contrasting moths and butterflies. You must compare antennae, resting stance, bodies, and pupa stages, etc.

Option#2
Create a collage using different varieties of seeds. We will display the collage in the classroom.
Option#3Art
Create a collage of different plants. You might check garden centers to see if they have any old catalogs.
Option#4
Design a new butterfly feeder or a device on which the butterfly can lay its eggs. Bring your design to class. You may draw the design if you do not want to build it.You need to research this on internet. Be sure to label the parts.
Option#5
Research entomologist. Find out what courses they take in college, what they do in their career, and salary as an entomologist.
Option#6
Describe various ways that seeds are dispersed ( scattered). This is found on p. 285 in your textbook. Write 1/2 page. You may include pictures.
Option#7
Write a poem about a cabbage white butterfly or larva. You might use haiku, limerick, or a sonnet.
