Option#1: Research osteoporosis and tell the causes, treatment and prevention of it. 1/2 to 1 page

Option#2 Draw and label the bones of the hand. P. 475

Option#3 Find the effects of microgravity on the bones of astronauts and how scientists are using this information to help people with spinal cord injuries and people with osteoporosis.

Option#4 Explain how you can take care of your bones. ( P. 480) 1/2 to one page

Option#5 Draw two joints of the body and show how they move. Label and use arrows.



Monday : select option, due Firday, partial credit if turned of late.
Finish drawing offspring of Clyde and Claire if not completed in lab

Thurday: complete hw option and pratice presenting it to class, review for a quiz on Venn diagram complaring meiosis and mitosis, and cell division

No homework this week as we finish reports on vertebrates. Also, we will be completing lab activities on heredity this week. All students need a new bound composition notebook like we used in first semester. Next week, we will begin using the science textbook,Science Explorer for this semester. I will give a lab notebook grade on one lesson later this week from our old journal.
