Homework Options Oct 4 - 8

Option#1
Make a Venn diagram comparing and contrasting moths and butterflies. You might compare antennae, resting stance, bodies, and pupa stages, etc.

Option#2
Write a poem about a cabbage white butterfly or larva. You might use haiku, limerick, or a sonnet.

Option#3
Design a new butterfly feeder or a device on which the butterfly can lay its eggs. Bring your design to class. You may draw the design if you do not want to build it. Be sure to label the parts.

Option#4
Look up the scientific name of lettuce or spinach. Find the family to which each belongs.

Option#5
Complete research on entomologists. Find out what courses they take in college and what they do in their career as an entomologist.

Describe various ways that seeds are dispersed found on page 285 in textbook.
