This week there will be only one choice for homework. It will be due on Friday. If students need to make up zeros they can do any of the options from previous weeks of this 9 week period for 60% credit .
Homework: Create a cartoon with either an Amoeba Euglena, or Parameciam as the central character<. Your cartoon must be accurately drawn and should show details of at least 4 organelles, such as flagella, cilia, pseudopods, nuclei, vacuoles, oral grooves, and eyespots. Make your caption humorous, focusing on at lest one major characteristic of the protist. Make a draft in pencil then color with colored pencil. Use white plain paper. You may use a computer to create a background and labels for your final cartoon. Students have reviewd the grading rubric on Monday.
If students need more information about thier organism, use internet, or thier science textbook p.228-232.
