homework options:
Organisms: Macro to Micro
Lesson 10

Option #1
Research to find out how the leaves of certain plants are adapted to conserve water. Examples: how is a cactus different from a fern?

Option#2
Write a ½ to 1 page report on why leaves change color in the fall.

Option # 3 Prepare a drawing of a specific tree that demonstrates how the leaves are arranged for each to receive maximum sunlight. Indicate the species of the tree below the drawing.

Option #4
Gather a leaf collect and attach each leaf to a poster. Use reference books to identify each leaf. (You must have at least 5 leaves.)

Option #5 Make a 3-D model of the leaf structure. ( I suggest play dough.
Use the model on 270 in textbook

Option #6 Create a “wanted “poster for a microorganism observed in Lesson12. Include Habitat, description, size, movement, autotroph/heterotroph, Alias and other facts. Use white paper or ½ poster board. p226 in textbook

Monday: select homework option.
Thursday: complete hw options and turn in on Friday
